He also covered noteworthy news, with a concentration on Nutmeg State natives and SportsCenter updates. Elliott previously worked as a sports anchor and reporter at WFSB TV in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. During his stint at WFSB TV, he covered a wide range of news, including the Stanley Cup Finals and Red Sox World Series parades.

Before to WFSB TV, Polakoff worked as a sports director at KSNW-TV from August 2016 to August 2018. He began his journalism career with WHBF/KLJB-TV in Rock Island, where he worked as a sports anchor and multimedia journalist.
