She began her journalism career as a photojournalist for Fox Carolina in Greenville, South Carolina, where she spent four years. She collaborated with a crew that received a Southeast Emmy for their Hurricane Doraian coverage. While there, she decided to switch to on-air reporting because she enjoys sharing stories that are relevant to the community.
