Since rejoining WCBI in August 2021, Saac Williams has served as the station’s chief meteorologist. This is his second term with the station, serving from 2014 to early 2017. He has worked as a faculty at Mississippi State University since August 2014.

Isaac Williams Career
Williams is WCBI’s principal meteorologist. This is his second term with the station, he served from 2014 to early 2017. During this period, he anchored the weather from 4:30 to 7:00 a.m., followed by Midday on WCBI at Noon. He also anchored Sunrise on the CW from 7 to 7:30 a.m. Between stints at the station, he worked for WHNS in Greenville and KVEO-TV in Harlingen.
Williams holds the National Weather Association’s certification seal. He was in Tuscaloosa on April 27, 2011, when the devastating tornado outbreak occurred. In addition, he worked in Huntsville during the outbreak on April 28, 2014. Thus, he is accustomed to broadcasting adverse weather and understands the importance of doing it accurately and quietly. He has been an instructor at Mississippi State University since August 2014. In this position, he teaches various courses in the Geosciences Department.
