Jaden Smith, the son of American actor Will Smith, had events in China postponed after the rapper was accused of making racial remarks against China. A Xiaohongshu lifestyle app post has gone viral on Chinese social media. According to the post, Smith and his colleagues happened to be in the same compartment as a Chinese netizen who was taking a high-speed train from Kyoto to Tokyo in Japan on August 19.
According to the Xiaohongshu article, Smith and his crew were loudly uttering these obscene remarks while drinking, laughing, and beating the tray table. To encourage the mob to reduce their voices, the train attendants and someone who appeared to be a passenger had to address them many times.
