From 5 to 9 a.m. on weekdays, Ralston anchors Good Day Columbus for WSYX ABC6. She began her broadcasting career in Youngstown as a producer for WFMJ-TV21. She later moved to Clarksburg, West Virginia, and worked as an evening anchor, reporter, and producer for WDTV Newschannel 5.
After working in Clarksburg, she relocated to West Virginia and spent ten years with WSAZ. While there, she advanced from anchor and reporter to evening anchor.
