Jojo Gentry is an American sports reporter who presently works for CBS4/FOX59 in Indianapolis. She formerly served as the first female Sports Director for 44News in Evansville. As a result, she chooses to join the Greater Evansville Sports Hall of Fame.
Gentry grew up in Anderson, Indiana, and attended Lapel High School. She played golf and tennis there before moving on to Butler University’s golf program. She also became a sophomore and spent three seasons playing for the Bulldogs. However, she suffers from epilepsy. As a result, she joined the effort to raise awareness about the condition and was appointed to the Indiana Epilepsy Foundation Board. In addition, she serves on the board of the Indiana Golf Association.
