JoJo Siwa  defends Colleen Ballinger

After controversially defending Colleen Ballinger, a.k.a. Miranda Sings, from numerous charges of grooming, MoistCr1TiKaL has criticized JoJo Siwa.JoJo Siwa received criticism earlier this month for discussing her connection with Colleen Ballinger on Howie Mandel’s show. Viewers were taken aback when Siwa, who has known the contentious YouTuber since she was 12, defended Ballinger by stating, “The internet can take a lie and run with it so far, so far, to the point where you just can’t do anything about it.”

Siwa faced backlash for her comments that were seen as “victim shaming” after she claimed that the internet had made money “off of her cancellation” as a result of the reaction to Ballinger. The American YouTuber “MoistCr1TiKaL,” also known as Charles Christopher White Jr., has since weighed in and stated that Siwa “shouldn’t have been friends” with Ballinger in the first place.

An adult influencer befriending children in their audience is not healthy or normal,” added MoistCr1TiKaL, characterizing Ballinger’s friendship with Siwa, who was 12 at the time, as “very weird” and”another huge warning sign.”According to MoistCr1TiKaL, if you want to prove that everything is a lie and the person is innocent, this is the worst way to start your defense.

Whether Siwa thought the “victims” were all “deep fakes” was a question MoistCr1TiKaL offered. She also suggested that Ballinger may not have been inappropriate with Siwa because the young dancer “had an audience and a platform that could call to light these awful actions.”
