Bade began her broadcasting career in college and was recognized in her alma university, ASU’s Broadcasting Hall of Fame, in 2004. After graduating from college, she landed her first on-air job in Yuma, Arizona, where she worked as an evening weathercaster and substitute anchor.
Bade returned to school to pursue a degree in meteorology before working in community relations with the NBA’s Phoenix Suns. In this job, she collaborated with basketball legends such as Charles Barkley and Connie Hawkins. She then joined CBS Phoenix, where she worked as a morning weather anchor.
