Audencial joined KUSI FOX 5 as a morning news anchor in October 2016. When she returned to the station, she began by working as an anchor and fill-in reporter. This is her second spell with the station. Her career at the station began in 2008 when she worked as a morning and weekend producer. She later departed the station for KREX News Channel 5 in Grand Junction, Colorado, where she worked as a general assignment reporter, shooting, editing, and producing her reports.
She returned to KUSI after serving for U-T TV. While there, she helped to develop the station’s first UT San Diego morning newscast. She had the opportunity to fly to the Philippines and report on recovery efforts following the devastation caused by Typhoon Haiyan. She was awarded an Emmy for her work on these reports. Before becoming an anchor, she worked as an intern, writer, and producer at KGTV, San Diego’s ABC station.
Audencial’s kindergarten teacher stated that she improved the stories in her class and recommended her mother teach her not to make up stories. Since she was a child, she has always recounted stories with vigor and zest.
