He served as a weekend weather duties at WRDW-TV located in Augusta between 2007 and 2009. He got his first job in forecasting the weather for WVUT-TV, owned and operated by theĀ  University of Alabama in the year 2004.

He is pleased to be a member of the National Weather Association and American Meteorological Society. In addition to this, he holds seals of approval from both organizations. White says the reason why forecasting the weather o the Gulf can be extreme is because almost all types of weather can occur there.
