Away from the anchor desk, he is the lead reporter for the Aiken-based South Carolina, where he primarily broadcasts stories about Aiken, Edgefield, McCormick, Saluda, Bamberg, Barnwell, and Allendale Counties.

Before joining WJBF, he worked for WCBD in Charleston, South Carolina. Throughout his more than a decade-long career, he has contributed to broadcasts on national marquee topics in the Charleston market, such as the Walter Scott case, the Emanuel AME Church shooting, and Hurricane Matthew. During his time in Charleston, he worked in practically every position in the newsroom, beginning as a production technician. He was after that advanced to photojournalist, producer, assignment editor, and digital content manage positions.

As a photojournalist, he received a fellowship from the South Carolina Broadcasters Association to attend a week-long course for television reporters at the Poynter Institute of Media Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida.
