Stephen Moody Report on the Mobile County Public Schools  recognized as the best schools in Alabama

Alabama’s top schools include seven of Mobile County Public Schools institutions. One of just 14 schools in the whole state to receive a perfect 10 rating in each of the three areas of student development, test scores, and equity, Clark-Shaw School of Math and Science was named the top middle school in Alabama.

“My professors work tremendously hard to give our kids top-notch instruction, so being chosen as Alabama’s best school is such an honor and a joy. However, the fact that our students are here because they enjoy math, science, and technology also says a lot about them. Thus, they are in the appropriate curriculum, according to principal Timesha Taylor-Jackson.

This is in line with the school’s objective to create “globally aware and productive citizens who excel in the classroom and are responsible, courteous, lifelong learners” in its pupils. They’re on the right track with this honor, I think.

Our kids put in a lot of effort. Magnet schools have incredible academic demands, yet the students always rise to the challenge. Our pride and joy at Clark University is our kids. Jacqueline Martin, a teacher, stated, “We know that we have the top children in the entire county, and we’re simply excited to see what this year brings.

“We sincerely admire Clark Shaw and the other six institutions that made that list for obtaining perfect marks. The Mobile County Public Schools are excellent. Rena Philips from the Mobile County Public School System stated, “We have the best instructors and the best students, and this is just a reflection of that and the they put in each and every day is labor-intensive.

The additional schools that were honored were:

  1. Phillips Preparatory School
  2. Denton Magnet School of Technology
  3. Old Shell Road School of Creative And Performing Arts
  4. Hutchens Elementary
  5. Council Traditional School
  6. Dauphin Island Elementary
