Ashlyn worked at the station for three years, from July 2020 to June 2023. Previously, she worked at UATV in Fayetteville, Arkansas, as a sports anchor and senior staff volunteer. Brothers also worked as a host and razorback reel producer between August 2018 and May 2020. In January 2019, she began working as a sports pundit and manager at UATV.

Before joining UATV, Ashlyn interned at KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas, from June to August 2019. Previously, she worked as a sideline reporter for SEC Nation and Network. She worked there for one month from November 2018 to December 2018. Before that, Brothers served as a production runner for NBC’s Sunday Night Football from October to November of 2018. She spent her time there gathering information, answering phones, and doing administrative tasks.

Ashlyn got her start in journalism as a production assistant for FOX 24 News/KNWA-TV. Later, she earned a position as a digital content manager, which she held from July to October 2018. Before joining FOX 24 News, Brothers worked as a student global news anchor at UATV before being promoted to student meteorologist. Before joining UATV, Ashlyn worked as a Pig Trail Nation intern at KNWA-TV and Fox 24 News in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She worked at the station for one year, from July 2016 to July 2017.
