Dustin Moskovitz was born on May 22 in 1984.He is an American Internet Billionaire who co-founded facebook,Inc which is currently known by the name Meta Platforms. He owns Meta alongside his colleague’s Chris Hughes, Eduardo Saverin, Mark Zuckerberg, and Andrew McCollum.

Moskovitz and his colleague by the name Justin Rosenstein left Facebook in 2008 and opened up  Asana. In March 2011 Forbes reported that he owned roughly 2.44% of Facebook and was said to be the youngest Billionaire in the world .In October 2023 Bloomberg  Billionaires index pages indexed his net worth to be $18.0 Billion.

In February 2004, Dustin began developing arrangements for the launch of Facebook with his roommates Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, Chris Hughes, and friend Andrew McCollum.
Facebook was initially intended to be used by Harvard students as an online database directory to help them find other users. It had the domain name thefacebook.com.

However, the group took a year off and relocated to California in June 2004 to focus on the globalization of Facebook. In addition to investor Sean Parker, they also employed 8 new workers.
At Facebook, Dustin served as both the chief programmer and leader of the technical division.

Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Facebook, claims that Dustin picked up programming in a matter of days and quickly joined the team as the programmer. Dustin served as Facebook’s first CTO and VP of Engineering.
He contributed significantly to Facebook’s expansion by keeping an eye on its design and operation. 7.6% of Dustin’s Facebook shares were owned by him. Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg asserts that Dustin swiftly picked up programming and joined the team as the programmer after just a few days. Dustin was the original CTO and VP of Engineering for Facebook.

By monitoring its layout and operation, he considerably aided Facebook’s growth. He owned 7.6% of Dustin’s Facebook stock. He co-founded Good Ventures with his wife, Cari Tuna, a charitable organization. About $100 million has been given by Good Ventures to initiatives supporting the elimination of malaria, the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative, the Deworm the World Initiative, and GiveDirectly.

He and Cari became the youngest couple to sign the ‘Giving Pledge’ by Warren Buffet and Bill Gates, which requires billionaires to devote the majority of their money to charity.
